My Garden
GANI (גני) means “My Garden” in Hebrew. This name was chosen for our Bermuda-based nonprofit because it reflects a foundational Jewish truth: this world is God’s garden - a space of beauty, purpose, and divine presence.
Just as a garden requires consistent care to thrive and reveal its full potential, so too the world - and every soul within it - needs nurturing, guidance, and light to flourish. This is the mission of GANI: to help make beautiful Bermuda the vibrant, welcoming, colorful, and spiritually rich garden it is meant to be.

GANI’s Role in Bermuda
GANI is a registered charity in Bermuda (Registration No. #1046). It was established to provide a legal and sustainable foundation for the work of Chabad Bermuda, which serves as the public face of our activities on the island.
While Chabad Bermuda is the name familiar to the community, GANI is the Bermudian nonprofit entity responsible for legally operating, supporting, and overseeing all of its programs and services.
Rooted in Purpose
Through GANI, we provide:
habbat meals and services, holiday celebrations (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, Pesach, Shavuot), Jewish education for all ages, counseling, rabbinical care, and community support—ongoing programs that bring Jewish warmth, joy, and depth to life in Bermuda for both locals and visitors.
